Dale Lately – A Piece of Fluff

For this week’s #FirstDraftFridays, we’re sharing Dale Lately’s short story, A Piece of Fluff, from his collection, Unexpected Item in the Emotional Baggage Area.

Dale is a fiction writer and blogger, and is one of our familiar faces on the First Draft stage. He also runs Effed Up Nights at The Castle Hotel; offering another great opportunity for literary types to strut their stuff through his open mic slots. If you haven’t already, pop in to see them do their thing, and even sign up for a last minute performance slot on the night if you’re feeling brave.

Watch Dale read his story at our No More Comfort Zone event last December:

You can read more of Dale’s writing on his blog, or follow Dale and Effed Up Nights on Twitter.

We still have a few slots available for performers of all kinds to perform in pairs for our special 2nd birthday event, Two’s Company. Need a bit of convincing? Read Abi’s latest blog on why we should all suck it up and join forces.
