kulning

A Kulning, if you were wondering, is an ancient Swedish herding song. According to Google, it echoed down in the valleys between mountains and was used to call in the cattle, and each family or clan would have its own song-like call.

This December, First Draft and The Real Story are joined forces once again to herd you all in from the cold. We’re paired up writers and musicians for a very special night of winter songs and storytelling, and even a bit of carol singing…

Want to hear an actual Kulning? Have a listen…
