First Draft: Sick Day

The Prompt
The prompt for our April event comes from comedian and longstanding First Draft performer, Adam Blaize.
We’ve all had them, for better or for worse. But what’s your experience of the Great British Sick Day? Bad daytime TV, tasteless soup, skivers, boredom and fever are all up for discussion in April, as we delve into the murky underworld of the Great British Sick Day.
Doctors. Hospitals. ‘In sickness and in health’. Embarrassing Bodies. When they work, and when they don’t. Funny or frightening, skiving or serious – First Draft is just the tonic for all your bodily complaints. For our next event, our performers will be exploring all this and more, and getting you hot under the collar for all the wrong reasons.
So join us in April for an appointment with a line up of brilliantly medicinal performances. And, like all our regular events, it’s free! Just think of us like the NHS for cabaret.
The First Draft doctors will see you now.
